Robyn cements her position with a diploma in Construction Site Supervision, Building and Civil Engineering

Robyn, from Grangetown, is site coordinator for Falcon Fox on the Nile & Villiers and Vaux residential schemes, which collectively are delivering 168 new homes.  Falcon Fox was appointed as the construction management for both schemes. 

With a background in finance, Robyn wanted a complete career change when she applied for the role of site coordinator at Falcon Fox Developments.

Robyn, said: “The NVQ Level 4 Diploma was a year long process, I combined it with my day role and studied at night and it is thanks to my directors at Falcon Fox, Duncan Bowman and Ritchie Wharton, who really encouraged me along the journey.

“I have also completed an NHBC Effective Snagging and Handovers certificate with core topics including pre-handover inspection requirements, practical snagging techniques, evaluating quality standards, analysing homeowner feedback and managing the after-sales process.

​

“Transitioning from a financial background to a site coordinator is not the usual route but I really enjoy the role and I’m looking forward to progressing to a site supervisor. I’m an outgoing person, so liaising with the team and being client facing is something that I very much relish.”
